Example: 8 hours Monday to Friday at €25/hour = 40 hours, €1,000.00 gross — no overtime. Add a 4-hour Saturday and the extra hours appear as overtime at 1.5x.
Fact: under the EU Working Time Directive (Directive 2003/88/EC), the average working week must not exceed 48 hours including overtime, and every worker is entitled to at least 11 consecutive hours of daily rest and at least 4 weeks of paid annual leave (source: EUR-Lex summary of Directive 2003/88/EC). A weekly timesheet that records each day separately is the simplest proof that those limits were respected — one lumped "40 hours" line is not. That is why this generator keeps seven separate day rows, a visible overtime split, and a signature line: it produces a record an employer, a client or a labour inspector can actually read.
The formula is simple: total hours = sum of daily hours; overtime hours = total hours above your threshold; gross pay = (regular hours × rate) + (overtime hours × rate × multiplier). Set the threshold to match your contract — 40 hours is the common US and freelance default, while many EU contracts use 35–40 hours, and the EU-wide ceiling averages 48 hours including overtime.
Server-based generators receive your name, hours and rate. Ours never does — the PDF is assembled by JavaScript on your device. Verify it in the Network tab: no upload happens. Our safety guide explains the difference.
Regular and overtime hours are split on the sheet, with your multiplier applied — so a client sees exactly what they are paying for, and you have a record if a payment is disputed.
Bill a Berlin client in EUR and a London client in GBP from the same page. Change the rate per week as your contracts change.
The output is a genuine, searchable A4 PDF document generated with a real PDF library — crisp at any zoom, professional on screen and in print.
Your timesheet carries zero generator branding — just your name and your hours. No trial clock, no email capture.
Once the week is approved, turn the same hours into a bill with our free invoice generator — also 100% in-browser.
This tool makes clean timesheet PDFs; it does not calculate taxes, run payroll or store your history. For tax and payroll, use proper accounting software — and keep every downloaded PDF as your record.
Overtime rules, thresholds and rest requirements differ by country, sector and contract. Check your contract and your national rules; this tool records hours, it does not interpret your employment law.
Because nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored for you either. Download each timesheet before leaving the page and file it in your own records.
Yes — unlimited timesheets, every field, PDF download, forever. No trial, no watermark, no account, no payment details. It runs entirely in your browser, so there is nothing to meter.
Hours above your weekly overtime threshold (default 40 hours, which you can change) are shown separately as overtime, and the overtime pay line uses your overtime multiplier (default 1.5x). The threshold and multiplier are yours to set, because overtime rules differ by country, contract and sector.
No. The generator works the moment the page loads. There is no account and no email capture — which also means the form clears if you refresh, so download your PDF before leaving.
Only in this browser tab while you type. The PDF is assembled on your own device with a JavaScript PDF library — your name, hours and pay rate are never uploaded to any server.
Yes, as a record. Under the EU Working Time Directive (2003/88/EC), the average working week must not exceed 48 hours including overtime, with at least 11 consecutive hours of daily rest. A weekly timesheet like this one is exactly the kind of record that proves those limits were respected — but it is a record-keeping tool, not legal advice.
